SHROUDS
Shrouding systems
As we come from the nautical field, we design, for open sea racing sailing boats notably, shroud systems made in high performance textile cables. Attached to various parts of the mast and structure of the boat, shrouds keep the mast upright and in a position that stops it from breaking, supporting all the thrust operated by the sails.
Applications in the industrial and architectural sectors:
Shrouds don’t only apply to the nautical field. Custom-made shroud systems can be used in all types and sizes of constructions for maximum reliability and optimal architectural result. Just like in the nautical sector, our cables can stabilise any vertical element, by solidly maintaining its shape and position. Shrouding systems enable the creation of modern, light, aesthetic and discrete architecture.
Here are some examples of projects created with our shroud systems:

Shrouding accessories:
In order to put these shrouding systems in tension, we have developed a full range of highly resistant, light and adapted textile connectors:
– Soft shackle connectors
– Lashings
– Global tension solutions (purchase)
– Actuators/mechanical or hydraulic actuators
Safety warranty:
All of our solutions are produced as a series following strict manufacturing processes. We can thus guarantee a safety coefficient for each of our products. This safety coefficient is a ratio between the textile cable breaking loads and the MWL (minimum working load). It varies according to the nature of lanyards and uses.
Example: A textile lanyard of 500 kg MWL has a breaking load of 3,500 kg according to the machinery directive 2006/42/CE for lifting with a synthetic lanyard
