ACTIVITY
The Diconex company designs and manufactures microwave frequency components with advanced electromagnetic simulation techniques. It has workshops dedicated to the fabrication of its products.
THE CHALLENGE
To develop a shrouding solution for military antennas. Top-secret project.
THE SOLUTION IN DETAIL:
We had to create a shroud to deploy military antennas quickly. For this project, we worked on different textile connectors and proceeded to assembling the shrouds with a tension solution called a block and tackle, very frequently used in the nautical world: it’s a mechanism that transmits movement and thus reduces the effort necessary to deploy the antennas.
